Commercial Garage Door Bracket and Roller Replacement on N Bullard Ave in Goodyear
A commercial customer in Goodyear needed help after an upper roller bracket bent and changed the movement of the garage door. Eric replaced the damaged bracket and all of the rollers, then tested the door for smooth operation.
The Problem
A Bent Upper Bracket Changed How the Commercial Door Moved
The upper roller bracket had bent and twisted. This changed the movement of the commercial garage door and caused the operator assembly to contact the nearby sprinkler system.
During the inspection, Eric also found that the existing rollers were barely turning. The worn rollers added resistance and kept the door from moving smoothly.

Bent Upper Roller Bracket
The upper bracket was visibly bent and twisted, which affected the movement of the commercial garage door.
Contact Near the Sprinkler
The changed door movement caused the operator assembly to contact the sprinkler system positioned close to the door.
Rollers Were Barely Turning
All of the existing rollers were moving with heavy resistance instead of rolling smoothly inside the tracks.
The Repair

After Eric explained what he found, the customer approved replacement of the bent bracket and all of the existing rollers.

Secured the Commercial Door
Eric secured the garage door before removing the damaged upper bracket and starting the repair.

The bent upper roller bracket was removed and replaced with a new bracket.

Eric removed the rollers that were barely turning and installed new rollers throughout the commercial door.

The new rollers were positioned in the existing tracks. Eric checked movement near the sprinkler and tested complete opening and closing cycles.
